What to expect at your first session
First sessions run about 75 minutes, longer than a regular visit, because most of that time is just talking. I want to know what's sore, what's been sore before, what your days actually look like, and what you're hoping changes. None of that gets rushed.
The intake
Before any testing happens, we go through your history - old injuries, surgeries, stress levels, sleep, movement patterns. It sounds like a lot for a "body" appointment, but the body doesn't separate those things, so neither do I.
The testing
Muscle testing is gentle - I'm not checking your strength, I'm checking how your nervous system responds under light pressure in different positions. It often points to a spot you weren't expecting, which is usually the most useful part of the whole session.
The correction
Depending on what comes up, this might be hands-on structural work, breathing exercises, or simple movement. Then we test again, so you can feel the difference for yourself rather than take my word for it.
What happens after
Some people feel looser immediately. Others notice it more the next day, or the next week, as the change settles in. I'll usually suggest a follow-up interval based on what we found, but there's never an obligation to book before you're ready.
